Today we will talk about analyzing reviews of our app. This really helped us look at our app from a different angle

Based on the results of our survey, we collected a sufficient number of reviews and analyzed them with our team. We noticed several changes and improvements to our MVP. Before that, we were making assumptions about improvements, but we wanted to get more feedback from users and then review the app again. Most people liked the app's functionality, but there were also tips/opinions about UX. Students were among the respondents and we analyzed our app based on their vision. Since at the moment we have the same MVP as in previous posts, we would like to go through the reviews in detail.

Regarding the reviews of the app's functionality:

(We also want to note that we have improved the functionality based on the reviews, we will present the corrections to you below)

  • Language. Our app will be language-responsive.

  • Also, based on reviews, we were asked to add a function like "career growth” and the level of average salary in companies. Based on this comment, we thought and decided that, as expected, we will add the student's rating in the future. And since this is a career development, where other employers can see what the student/inexperienced worker's grade is. As for the average salary: Yes, this function is possible in the company description and it depends on the company itself, whether they want to distribute this information or not.

  • Filter. We added a filter by paid salary/category/location. We thought that it would be convenient for users and we met this in the reviews.

  • “More information about the job on the main page in addition to the name and payment” - we also consulted about this comment and came to the conclusion to leave a short description of the internship(Also depends on the companies).

  • Also, among the reviews, we found a fairly good review about linking a GitHub account to a profile (if it is a programmer). Since for a programmer this is part of his resume and it would be good for the employer to see the person's progress.

Let's move on to the design of our product:

  • Icons

  • Adaptability of buttons and size

By design, we will say this, everyone sees art in their own way, but we came to the conclusion that we can add these two parameters to our application. We assume that the minimalism of our app will appeal to many, as most of the respondents left good comments. According to our designer's sources, an investigation was made into what kind of app design users like at the moment. We'll attach some examples for the app here.
